RS Atta Chakki & Cold Press Oil Mill is a family-run unit in Jokahi, supplying stone-ground atta, whole wheat and cold pressed oils to homes and shops around Sonbhadra.
Our story
Started with one chakki and a few regulars
Like most chakkis in this part of Uttar Pradesh, we began by grinding wheat for families who brought their own grain. Word travelled the way it does in a small town — a neighbour's rotis stayed softer, so the next neighbour came too.
As demand grew we added packing, so people could buy atta ready-made instead of carrying grain, and a ghani for cold pressed oil. Today we supply shops, dhabas and hostels alongside the households we started with. The work is the same: buy good wheat locally, keep the machinery clean, and never stretch a batch to fill an order.
We are still a small operation, and we intend to stay that way. It is the only way to know exactly what is going into the bag with our name on it.

How we work
Three things we will not compromise on
Local first
Wheat and oilseed are bought from farmers and mandis around Sonbhadra wherever the quality allows. Shorter distance, fresher stock.
Honest weight
Bags are weighed before they leave. If a delivery ever comes up short, tell us and we will make it right — no argument.

- Stone chakki for atta, ground in small batches
- Cold press ghani for mustard, groundnut, sesame and coconut oil
- Packing table for 5 kg, 10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg bags
- Loading area for shop and institution deliveries

You are welcome to visit the mill, watch the chakki run and check the wheat before you buy. Customers who have seen the premises tend to stay customers.
